Mrs. Peggy Ingram, age 86 of 200 Chestnut, Quincy, died Monday, May 7, 2007, at 7 p.m. in Blessing Hospital.
She was born November 18, 1920 in Brown County, Illinois, the daughter of Allen Bradley and Kathryn Irene Sutherland Hurst. On February 24, 1939, she married Robert G. Ingram in Jacksonville, IL. He preceded her in death May 13, 1997.
Mrs. Ingram ran a day care in her home for 12 years.
Survivors are a son, Glenn Robert Ingram, Quincy; four daughters, Mary Stipp and her husband Carl, Blackstone, IL; Glenna Kaufman and her husband Daniel, Durham, MO; Margaret Williams and her husband Robert, Grand Rapids, MI; Jeanie Lillard, Canton, MO; nine grandchildren, Susan Chaplin, Eden, Maryland; Mark Stipp, Eden, Maryland; Duane Stipp, Streator, IL; Marsha Henne, Morris, IL; David Kaufman, Durham, MO; Tammy McNay, Grand Rapids, MI: Tim Bowen, Grand Rapids, MI; Jennifer and Travis Lillard, Canton, MO; 13 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; two brothers, Herbert Eugene Hurst, Golden, IL; and William Allen Hurst, Griggsville, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and sister in infancy.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with Mr. Mark Peterson officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials to the Peggy Ingram Memorial fund in her name would be appreciated. Burial will be in Hersman Cemetery near Mt. Sterling.
