Jordan Michelle Pyatt, age 13, of Quincy died Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 6:15 pm in St. Louis Children's Hospital.
She was born December 9, 1993 in St. Louis, MO the daughter of Stu and Mona Morrison Pyatt.
Jordan loved school! She attended the Early Childhood Education Center, Monroe Elementary, Baldwin and Quincy Junior High School. She spent most of her time running around, swimming in her pool, riding her bike and roller skating. Jordan was a typical teenager. She enjoyed talking on the cell phone, texting, instant messaging friends on her computer and playing Guitar Hero. Most of all Jordan loved to spend time with her family and friends, especially on vacations. Her favorite vacation spot was Disney World!
Survivors include her parents of Quincy; 2 sisters, Jodie and Jamie Pyatt of Quincy; paternal grandparents, Sam and Barb Pyatt of Quincy; maternal grandparents, Aubrey and Frances Morrison of Bowling Green, MO; maternal great grandparents, Robert and Earlean Hopke of Bowling Green, MO; aunts and uncles, Stan Pyatt and wife Sue of West Palm Beach, FL, Stephanie Pyatt of Quincy, Marsha McGraw and husband Sean of O'Fallon, MO, Greg Morrison and wife Terri of Bowling Green, MO; cousins Michael Pyatt, Brandy Goudy, Dylan and Ryan McGraw, Daniel Morrison; God parents Mark and Charla Reed of Galesburg, IL, and her very best friend Allison Moulton.
The Pyatt Family invites you to a special service celebrating Jordan's life on Sunday, June 3, 2007, at 4:00 pm at The Crossing, 48th and Maine. Rev. Jerry Harris will be officiating. The family will meet with friends on Sunday following the service at The Ambiance, 5225 Koch's Lane. Private burial will be Monday in Greenmount Cemetery. Memorials made to The Crossing in Jordan's name would be appreciated.
