Gertrude Mildred Willey, 99, of 418 Washington and formerly of 712 Payson, Quincy, died Sunday, December 16, 2007 at 10:25 am in Sunset Home.

She was born August 23, 1908 in Burlington, Iowa a daughter of George John and Mary Ida Schultz Oesterle. She married Ralph Willey on June 8, 1932, and he preceded her in death on August 17, 1961.

She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church, where she faithfully attended until her health failed. She was an active member of Women's Ministries and Prime Timers. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and being with her family.

She is survived by three daughters, Mildred Reed and husband Marvin and Mary Belle Brandsted and husband Larry, all of Quincy; Carol Rose Benner and husband Carl, Neosho, MO; 18 grandchildren, Mary Herrin and husband Bill, Lizabeth Zinn and husband Vernon, James Reed and wife Joyce, and Bruce Wenneker, all of Quincy, John Reed and wife Patty of Summers, WI, Dr. Mark Wenneker of Pittsburg, PA, Matthew Reed and wife Eve of Lombard, IL, Rev Craig Benner and wife Toni, a Missionary in Mexico, Curk Benner and wife Cynthia of Valley View, TX, Christopher Benner and wife Cristy, Cameron Benner and wife Joy, Clifford Benner and wife Kristy, all of Neosho, MO, Carmen Chilson and husband Eric of Tampa, FL, Pennie Street and husband Scott of Dickson, TN, Teresa Mills and husband Dennis of Alturas, CA, Tracy Rhoades and Cheryl Brandsted of Alturas, CA and Trisha Carr and husband Rick of Vacaville, CA; 56 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Frieda Mayer of Sturgeon, MO and Helen Jondle of Muscatine, IA. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Goodwin and Ruth Basket; three brothers, Max, Wilford and George Oesterle and two grandsons, one great grandson, and one great granddaughter in infancy.

Services will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 10 am in Bethel Assembly of God Church with Rev. Mark Graham officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4-6 pm at Hansen Spear Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lewistown Cemetery, Lewistown, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Assembly of God Church or Sunset Home.
