"I can't imagine the hurt and pain you are experiencing now. I don't know if it will bring you comfort but I have learned of a hope for those that have passed away. This hope was spoken by Jesus at John 5:28, 29. There he said that one day "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." We learn at John 11:11, 43 that those that have fallen asleep in death are simply sleeping, awaiting that grand resurrection. Your dear Drayce is asleep and no longer suffering. (Ecclesiastes 9:5) All those in the grave will awaken to a world where sickness and death are no more; where peace abounds and food is in abundance. (Psalm 37:11, 29; 72:16; Isaiah 33:24; Revelation 21:4) Until this time, know that our Creator, Jehovah God, "is close to the brokenhearted," and has so lovingly invited you to "throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you." (Psalm 34:18; 83:18; 1 Peter 5:7) So turn to him in prayer, telling him exactly how you feel. If you would like to learn more as to why we lose loved ones in death, visit www.jw.org. Take care and please accept my sincerest condolences."
