Richard 'Moses' Junk, age 52 of 226 N 14th died Friday, November 28, 2008 at 3:04 a.m. in Blessing Hospital.
He was born August 30, 1956 in Carthage, Illinois the son of Earl and Eleanor Hull Junk.
Moses was an engineer at Harris Corporation for 28 years. He was an avid bass fisherman who enjoyed the outdoors. He also liked playing his guitars.
Survivors include his mother, Eleanor Junk of Carthage, IL, his son, Adam Junk of Quincy, his daughter, Heather Bangert of Quincy, and 2 sisters Karen Zujko and husband Richard of Liberal, Kansas and Dora Mae Berres and husband Charles of Cottonwood, AZ; several nieces and nephews and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew.
Services: 10 am Wednesday at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with the Rev. Oliver Taube officiating. Burial will be in West Point Cemetery.
Visitation: 4-7 pm Tuesday at Hansen-Spear
