Mary Alice Cash, age 78, of 1129 Chestnut, formerly of Winchester, Indiana, died Sunday March 29 at 5:00 pm in Blessing Hospital.
She was born on January 7, 1931 in Winchester, Indiana the daughter of John Leroy and Lucille Irene Boyd. On November 20, 1948 she married Jay Everett Cash in Ridgeville, Indiana. He survives.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include: her son, James Cash of LaFayette, IN; her daughter, Rosanna Nowell of Quincy; eight grandchildren: Amy Nowell, Philip Roger Nowell Jr., Austin Cash, Kathy Ann Nowell, Patrick Nowell, Heather Cash, James Cash Jr., and William Cash; five great-grandchildren: Sean, Renae, Austyn, and Dillion Nowell, and Raymond Nelson Cooper Jr.; three brothers: Robert Wesley Boyd of Greenville, OH; George Boyd of Greenville, OH; and James Lee Boyd of Winchester, IN; and three sisters: Rosanna Marie Retz of Winchester, OK; Beverly Roberta Meyers of Portland, IN; and Patty Lou Boyd of Portland, IN.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Tammy, her parents, two brothers: John Leroy and Charles Winfield Boyd, and two sisters: Betty Jean Boyd in infancy, and Ruth Elizabeth Riegele.
There will be no services. Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society.
