In loving memory of

Grant Liesen
September 13, 2014

Grant M. Liesen, age 37, of 920 N. 12th, Quincy, entered into eternal peace on Saturday, September 13, 2014, at 1:52 pm in Blessing Hospital.

Grant entered our world on June 8, 1977 in Quincy, Illinois, the son of Michael and Sheryl Kulla Liesen.

Grant was a 1996 Quincy High School graduate. He was a special products transfer person for Allied Van Lines delivering antennas all over the country. He delivered 3 antennas to New York City immediately following 9/11. Grant loved remote control airplanes and helicopters, having taught himself the necessary skills to fly, repair and build the remote control airplanes and helicopters he dearly loved to fly. He had a keen interest in WWII.

Grant's personality was such that anyone he met became his friend after the first five minutes. He had a love for children, an open heart and a desire to help anyone he could.

Survivors include his dad, Michael Liesen of Quincy; his brother, Jason Liesen of Quincy; a niece, Laina Rae (Justin) Hudson of MO, and a nephew, Avery Ensor of Quincy as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sheryl Liesen, and his grandparents, Albert and Florence Kulla and Howard and Flora Dene Liesen.
