Brener Jett Hannel, the three-month-old son of Brenton and Somer Speckhart Hannel, of 258 Highway 57, Quincy, was completely healed by our Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday (April 4, 2015) at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
Brener was born in Springfield, Illinois on January 6, 2015 at 6:26 a.m. weighing 1 lb. 9 oz..
His life was a blessing. Brener will always be remembered by his loving Daddy and Momma, extended family members and dear friends. A beautiful baby boy who loved to smile. Brener's precious story touched many, led many to the cross, and opened so many doors for spiritual conversations. He is well.
Survivors include his parents, Brenton and Somer Speckhart Hannel, his maternal grandparents, Gary and Rita Speckhart of Quincy, IL; his paternal grandparents, Rodger and Bonnie Hannel of Kinderhook, IL; his maternal great-grandfather, Richard Speckhart, of Quincy; his paternal great-grandmother, Elsie Price of Blackwater, MO; his aunts and uncles, Aaron (Jessica) Speckhart and their son, Corbin of Quincy, Rhiannon (Jarad) Dieker and their daughter Caralena of Quincy, Alese Speckhart of Quincy, Brian (Jenny) Hannel and their daughters Lenora and Vivian of Webster Groves, MO, and Kyle (Aimee) Hannel and their daughter Cadence and son Tyson of Fowler, IL; and numerous great aunts and uncles and other relatives.
He was greeted in Heaven by his maternal great-grandparents Juanita Speckhart, and Carrie and Bun Lefringhouse, and his paternal great-grandparents Gerald Price and Myrl and Cassie Hannel.
Visitation: Friday (April 10, 2015) from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Speckhart Barn. If you participated in the T-shirt fundraiser, you are welcome to wear your Warriors for Brenner shirt to Friday's visitation.
Services: A celebration of Brener's life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday (April 11, 2015) at the Speckhart Barn, 276 Highway 57, with Pastor Chris Lefever officiating.
