Charlotte R. Mueller, age 75, of Quincy, died on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 10:04 am in her home.
Charlotte was born November 10, 1939 in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of Charles F. and Vivian E. Ehrgott Hall. She married Charles R. Mueller on November 21, 1964 in Quincy. He preceded her in death on February 8, 2012.
Charlotte lived in Bloomington, Illinois, Washington, Illinois and St. Louis, Missouri, before moving back to Quincy in 2000. She had worked at S.S. Kresge, a hairdresser at Steppes Beauty Salon and as a sales clerk at Dixie Creme Donut Shop. She was of the Lutheran faith.
Survivors include children, C. Robert (Patti) Mueller, Jr. of Hawk Point, MO, George W. (Linda) Mueller of Waterloo, IL, and Jani R. (Robby) Roberson of Anniston, AL; five grandchildren, Matthew (fiance' Ashley Deterding) Mueller of Waterloo, IL, Melissa (boyfriend Michael Stearns) Mueller of Winston-Salem, NC, Joseph Mueller of Albuquerque, NM, Elizabeth Sumner (Michael) Norris of Birmingham, AL, and Nathan Sumner of Anniston, AL; four sisters, Sharon Froehlich of Fowler, IL, and Betty Smith, Pattie Vonholt and Roberta Malone, all of Quincy; three brothers, Charles, Steven, and Norman Hall, all of Quincy; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sue Spillman.
Services: 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 5, 2015 in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, with Chaplain Clif Weisinger officiating.
Burial: Woodland Cemetery, Quincy, Illinois
Visitation: 4:00-6:00 pm Friday September 4, 2015 Hansen-Spear Funeral Home
