Thomas Ulrich, age 71, of 753 N. 550th Ave., Quincy, died Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at 2:30 pm in Sycamore Health Care Center.
Thomas was born April 13, 1944 in Quincy, Illinois, the son of Joseph and Evelyn Peters Ulrich.
Thomas was a graduate of Quincy Senior High School. He was the owner and operator of Tom's Disposal for 53 years. Thomas loved playing pool, visiting with his friends, and watching the History Channel.
Thomas is survived by three daughters, Jolynn (Lorenzo) Figueroa of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Jennifer (Charlie) Wharton of Lagrange, MO, and Johna Ulrich of Quincy; two sons, James Ulrich of Blackfoot, ID, and Thomas Ulrich of Quincy; his partner of many years, Susan White of Quincy; nine grandchildren, Valerie, Richard, Jackie, Melissa, William, Loretta, Michael, Nicholas, and Kaleb; three great grandchildren, Justin, Ethan, and Jace; two sisters, Violet Burris of Quincy, and Elaine Selser of Quincy; a brother, Robert Ulrich of Quincy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Sharon, Rosemary, and Delores, and a brother, Joseph.
