Holly Head wrote on May 4, 2016:

"Dick was such a special person in my young life, when he acted as mentor to me and my classmates while we learned the art of radiography. Always professional, but with a great sense of humor. He loyally guarded his students and was a friend to all. It has never been long between times when I think of him and the family and the memories are always warm and special. We had recently returned home and I'm so sorry I didn't know about the services or visitation. Blessings to you all."

Carolyn Collins and Kate Pohlpeter wrote on Apr 28, 2016:

"Carolyn and I were saddened to hear of the passing of your dad, Rebecca. The world is always a lesser place when a good man leaves it. We wish you and your family peace."

Paul and Carol Adair Obert wrote on Apr 26, 2016:

"With heartfelt sympathy to the family. I have vivid memories of Richard (Rich) and his family visiting my family, (Oren and Katherine Adair) on the farm on Sunday afternoons. Also a few family outings together to the State Fair, The Ozarks and St. Louis. Those were big weekends in the 40's. We'll also be forever grateful to Richard and Jan for bringing his parents to visit us in Gibson City several years ago. May his soul rest in peace."

Bob Cadwell wrote on Apr 25, 2016:

"I always liked Richard's sense of humor and his work ethic. He loved a good joke and he was a hard worker. I met him while I was dating one of his co-workers, Carol Black. The jokes they could tell and the banter between them and Dr . Adams was so entertaining. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He will surely be missed by many. Prayers go out to his loved ones ."
