"Dear Troy,
I just got to Quincy tonight and read where your dear wife Maggie died. You were great people to know, and so many years, when I was at the old Plaza, the Pierre and also as a rug dealer in St. Louis. So many auctions we met in the old days which she loved to buy.
Truly, I missed both of you and been awhile since I was at your home. Troy, keep the old clock I got you to buy at the old Peacock auction, it has good memories.
You both were wonderful to know and Maggie was a real gem.
I loved both of you,
Paul K. Geers
