Kenneth Charles "Kenny" Morris, age 57, of Fort Madison, Iowa, died Friday, May 19, 2017, in Iowa City Veteran's Administration Hospital.
Kenny was born October 7, 1959 in Fort Madison, Iowa, the son of James Carroll and Lois Jean Six Morris. He married Diane Christensen on April 11, 2003 in Ft. Madison, Iowa. She survives.
Kenny earned his GED before serving United States Army for three years. During that time he also worked to earn his college degree. He was employed for Fruehauf from 1979 to 1998, and then at Eastman House from 2003 to 2005. Kenny enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren, 3D printing and making jewelry.
In addition to his wife Diane, Kenny is survived by two daughters, Nena (Zach) Kaltenbach of Palmyra, MO, and Carrie Morris of Ft. Madison, IA; three step-children, Jason (Danielle) Nielsen of Yelm, WA, Melissa (Ruben) Nielsen of Clarksville, TN, and Matthew Nielsen of Ft. Madison, IA; four grandchildren, Cassandra Kistner, Amealia Fryer, Rowan Morris, and Edward Kaltenbach; four step-grandchildren, Chet and Oceana Nielsen, and Christine and Carson Medina; and a nephew, Steven (Savanah) Strunk.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Jeffrey (Judy) Dobson.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 pm Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Riverview Park in Ft. Madison, Iowa.
