"Tane and Katie, so sorry for your loss. Wes will truly be missed. Gary and I have so many fond memories of Wes and his family. May he rest in peace, and may you find comfort in all the memories you share."
"Wesley, I don?t remember what my life was like in the 22 months before your arrival? on a Friday the 13th, no less ? but I never thought about what my life would be like without you in it from that point on. Now I know: it will be empty of something very dear to me. From the beginning you could fill any room with the force of your personality. Your love for life was infectious. You could be one of the most annoying and exasperating people on the planet one minute, then turn around to become one of the most caring, most generous, and kindest people on earth the next. You were a good husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. And you lived to see the Cubs win the World Series ? you and Dad will have lots of discussions about that, I?m sure! Even though we haven?t spent a lot of time together in recent years, I miss you already, dear brother. Rest in peace, and say hi to Mom and Dad for us. They will be happy to see you, but I know that they, like the rest of us, weren?t expecting you to meet up with them again so soon. I love you always."
"Tane and family: I was saddened to hear of the passing of Wes. I always considered him as a good friend and could always count on his help and support when I served as sheriff in Brown County. Please accept my sincere sympathy. Always keep the many good memories of your loved one close to your hearts. May God bless and comfort each of you during this time."
