Sharon L. Cobb, age 59, of Quincy, died Friday, October 6, 2017, at 8:34 am in her home.
Sharon was born January 2, 1958 in El Paso, Texas, the daughter of Milton and Lyla Graff Breder. She married Bill Cobb on October 13, 2011 in Quincy. He survives.
She was a secretary at Julie Constable's State Farm Insurance office until her retirement due to ill health. Sharon loved to dance, horses, and her Black Labradors, Sheba, Travis, Molly and her Bischon Spencer. She enjoyed spending time gardening at the farm, oil painting, completing puzzles, and was unbeatable at cards. She and Bill would spend weekends camping and boating with their friends.
In addition to her husband, Bill, Sharon is survived by her parents; a daughter, Regina McGee of Quincy; two grandsons, Jerad (Danielle) Price of Grantsville, MD, and Christopher (Chelsea) McGee of Havelock, NC; a great-granddaughter, Sophia Price; a brother, Richard Kent Breder of Springfield, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services: 11:00 am Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, with Chaplain James Riley officiating.
Burial: Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, Illinois
Visitation: 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Tuesday October 10, 2017 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Homeward Bound Waggin' Rescue.
