"Kevin, and family. I am so sorry Kevin in hearing about the passing of your wife. I did not personally know her, but I did know you through Baylis and Pittsfield school. Prayers sent your way for your family in time of sorrow and need."

Debbi Gardner wrote on Nov 11, 2017:

"Kim and Kerry, Friday was a bittersweet reunion for three cousins. While Valerie and I were glad to be there for you, we hated the reason. It was very apparent during the visitation how loved and respected Krista was. Peace be with the two of you, Kevin, Joe and Sarah."

Father Joe Zimmerman wrote on Nov 11, 2017:

"I got to know Krista when she signed up to take my Latin course and ended up studying Latin for two years. She taught me a lot about biology, and I was amazed at the presentation she gave on her research at North Campus, just before her graduation. I am saddened that she was not able to continue her studies on the graduate level. She was a very compassionate person, and talked a lot about the stresses faced by students at North Campus. She invited me to her home for dinner, where I met her family and saw sheep up close for the first time. May God reward her as a good and faithful servant."

Jane Hudson wrote on Nov 9, 2017:

"I have known Krista since 1989. She and her first husband Fred Wiewel helped me till my gardens, gave freely of their friendship and shared many happy and sad times with me. I was present at the home birth of her daughter Sarah and had stayed in touch with Krista over these last few years when I was adrift and looking for a safe place to land. I am just in shock and disbelief over her sudden death - My heart goes out to Joe and especially Sarah - who I am sure was counting on the love, support and guidance only a mother can give as she sets forth on her own journey of motherhood."
