Mildred Beever

Mildred H. Beever, age 94, of Quincy, died on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 2:15 p.m. in Sunset Home.

She was born December 18, 1922 in Liberty, Illinois the daughter of Carl and Letha Mitts Sheurman. On January 8, 1960 she married Wallace Beever in Moberly, Missouri, He preceded her in death on November 22, 2004.

For over 20 years she owned and operated a Shelter Care Home at 327 Elm. Later she and her husband were associated with Wally's Electronics. Mrs. Beever was an avid car collector and was a member of the Mississippi Valley Historical Auto Club and the Tri-State Lugnuts Car Club. At one time she had 15 antique cars, among them a 1928 Model A. Ford pick up truck that was in the Hee Haw Show in its first series. Other cars were a 1949 Plymouth Special and a 1975 Plymouth Grand Prix. Mrs. Beever was of the Christian faith..

Survivors include three sons: Delbert Jackson of Lake Charles, LA: Ronald (Linda) Jackson of Clayton, IL; and Harry (Mary Lou) Miller of Reed Springs, MO; two stepsons Robert Beever of Quincy; and Eldon (Cheri) Beever of Peoria, IL; two step daughters Karen (John) Berry of Springfield, MO; and Mary Senf of Norton Shores, MI; grandchildren include: Becky, Tommy, and Delbert Jr., Jackson of Lake Charles, LA; Brenda (Bob) Potts of Quincy; Ronald Jr. (Carmen) Jackson of Chandlerville, IL; Randy (Roberta) of Coatsburg, IL; Steve (Regina) Miller of St. Louis, MO; Harry Jr. "Chip" of Quincy; Penny (Kevin) Goodman of Harrisonville AR; Julie (Tim) Mohn of Virginia, IL; Jennifer Cooper of Payson, IL; Gene Beever of Peoria, IL; Dean (Meredith) Beever of Chicago, IL; Dustin (Emily) Beever of Nashville, TN; and Sean (Chrissy) Berry of Pleasant Hill, MO; Nicole (Phil) Collins of Springfield, MO; Aimee (Brian) Bement of Norton Shores, MI; Chad (Gina) Senf of Tustin, CA; and Melissa (Dave) Zablocki of Wauconda, IL; 35 great grandchildren, and three great step grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Thomas; a daughter, Sally; three daughters-in-law: Lorna Jackson, Pat Jackson, and Eileen Beever; a son-in-law, Tim Senf; and a grandson, Wade Jackson.

As per her wishes and final request, Mildred was cremated without a visitation or a funeral service.

Graveside Services: 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 27, 2017 in Greenmount Cemetery with Mr. John Berry officiating.

Inurnment: Greenmount Cemetery.
