"Hello Ron Poyner, i remember you very well! I remember visiting you at the jail when you was a police officer and i got my mugshot tooken and my fingerprints!! I still have both of them too!! Yes i remember buttons and bows. My dad always liked visiting you whenever he could when we went to galesburg to see aunt connie. So sad her and my dad are both gone. She was the best aunt ever and my dad was the best dad any daughter could ask for! I had worked with him at our bodyshop and carlot the past 8yrs so i was lucky and got to be with him everyday, thats one thing ill always be so grateful for. I still have the shop and carlot goin so if you ever come this way you should stop and say hi! Im over in west quincy missouri right across the bridge from quincy."

"Bobby, we were old friends (40 years now) that had lost contact with each other over the years. But, we were the type of friends that when we would run across each other it would be like we just picked up where we left off. We shared so many laughs and good times and we sure loved the Pizza House, it's hard to believe we've grown to this age and I find out just today you're gone. Thank you for all the years of friendship albeit it was a distant one. Rest in peace my good friend, rest in peace! Suze and LeeAnn, you girls stand little chance if any at all in remembering me but make you father and mother proud because they sure loved and was proud of their 2 little blonde girls. Remember. "BO?" He and "Buttons" came from me. Ron Poyner Galesburg, IL 07/02/18"
