Jennifer Jesse Klingele, age 46, of Springfield, Illinois, and formerly of Quincy, died on Monday, November 19, 2018, at 12:43 am in Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Illinois.

Jennifer was born April 26, 1972 in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of David E. and Carolyn J. Arment Brown. She married Andrew Klingele on May 3, 2003 in Central Baptist Church in Quincy. He survives.

Jennifer was a 1990 graduate of Quincy Senior High School. She attended the Gem City College of Horology. Jennifer was employed at Quincy Medical Group until 2003 when she moved to Springfield and began her career at Memorial Healthcare. She also spent two years at the Memorial Walk-In Clinic at HyVee in Springfield. Jennifer was loved by both the patients and co-workers she saw daily in the course of her career. Jennifer was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Jennifer enjoyed reading and making crafts. She was an excellent cook and baker, and fall was her favorite time of the year. For Jennifer, Christmas was the ultimate holiday and she loved to decorate and celebrate with family and friends. Jennifer dearly loved the dogs that she adopted into her life.

Survivors include her husband, Andrew Klingele of Springfield, Illinois; her parents, David and Carolyn (Arment) Brown of Quincy; her sister, Cynthia J. Brown of Quincy; her father and mother-in-law, Bob and Marge Klingele of Quincy; three brothers-in-law, Tom (Becky) Klingele of Terre Haute, IN, and Dan (Betty) Klingele and John (Gina) Klingele, both of Quincy; three sisters-in-law, Theresa (Gary) Zellerman, Linda (Rick) Miles, and Kathy (Mark Crutcher) Wellman, all of Quincy; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members; and her beloved boxer, Josie.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her grandparents, John William and Marie R. (Baker) Arment and Willene and Jesse Brown.

Services: 10:00 am Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Central Baptist, with Rev. Jason Sommerfeldt officiating.

Burial: Knox City Cemetery, Knox City, Missouri

Visitation: 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Friday November 23, 2018 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, pet food may be donated for Homeward Bound Waggin' or to the Quincy Humane Society and memorials are suggested to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PANCAN)
