MADISON-Joseph Paul Kunz, age 55, of Madison passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital. He was born on February 11, 1964, in Milwaukee, the son of Robert J. and Lucille N. (Bremness) Kunz. Joseph married Deborah in a religious service on September 12, 1998, in Madison.
Joseph attended school in Milwaukee, graduating from Monona Grove High School in Monona, and received an associate's degree in Visual Communication at Madison Area Technical College. He worked for REM-Wisconsin for 10 years as an activities coordinator. He enjoyed bow hunting, fishing, traveling, going to the accessible cabins at state parks, and spending time with his dog, Camilla.
Joseph is survived by his niece, Jamie (Terry) McNally of Madison; his parents; his brother and two sisters. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard.
Funeral services will be held at Temple Beth El, 2702 Arbor Drive, Madison, at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, March 11, 2019. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Garden, 7302 Mineral Point Road, Madison. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church on Monday.
