Wanda E Campbell
February 28, 1929 - March 7, 2019

Mrs. Wanda E. Campbell, 90, formerly of rural Burlington, died Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Bickford Cottage, where she resided for the past 2 ½ years.
Born February 28, 1929 in Cotter, IA, she was the daughter of Parn and Allie (Martin) Hillyard. She married Ronald W. Campbell on February 6, 1948 in Canton, MO. He preceded her in death on February 9, 2011.
Wanda graduated from Huron High School.
She was a member of Kingston United Methodist Church.
She was a farm wife.
Wanda had many hobbies including gardening, baking, sewing, and canning. She loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include three daughters, Connie (Wayne) Beckman of New London, IA, Sandy (Rick) McLaughlin of Mediapolis, IA and Rhonda Ferrill of Burlington; son, Tim (Paula) Campbell of Burlington; thirteen grandchildren, Chandler (Joshua) Ortiz, Wayco Beckman, Cody (Kara) Beckman, Jeremy (Amy Jo) McLaughlin, Kari (Brian) Wright, Amy (Heath) Timmerman, Ron Ferrill, Megan Woodard (Ben Winke), Connie (Brian) Wiley, Kory (Samantha) Krenz, Heather Pontzius, and Travis Campbell; seventeen great-grandchildren; brother, Hartzell (Dorothy) Hillyard of Burlington; a sister Norma Massner of Mediapolis, IA, and two sisters-in law, Thelma Hillyard of Mediapolis, IA and Virginia Hillyard of Winfield, IA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Daniel, three brothers, and seven sisters.
The funeral service for Mrs. Campbell will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 13th at Lunning Chapel. Pastors Gwen and Sam Fratt will officiate. Interment will be in Edwards Cemetery, rural Oakville, IA. Friends may call noon-7:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends 5-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 12th at Lunning Chapel.

I loved Wanda and Ronald, and I'll always be grateful that we connected with them at my brother's funeral and kept in touch after that.
