"Although this message comes from afar, Aunt Josie has always been near to my heart. Twenty six years ago I was a new Mom to my son Ryan & later to my daughter Kimberly. My Mom Terry had passed away 4 years earlier. Aunt Josephine and her sister Carmella were often there for me with wise, loving advice & helping hands. Both Ryan & Kimberly still have packed away the blankets (their first blankie's) that Aunt Josie made for them. Aunt Josie was very close to my Mom and was a constant source of love and support during her battle with cancer, & helping with my brother Joey. I have many fond memories of my childhood & family events with her and my Great Aunts along & their sister my Grandmother Sarah Previte. My husband Ed and I thought Aunt Jo was the most energetic ever-ready bunny, just an amazing Lady, funny & always thinking of others. In hearing of her passing my 1st thought was how joyous her reunion in Heaven would be. It warms our hearts to know Aunt Josie will be reunited with her husbands, Parents, & ALL those Sisters (Nick too) & certainly her beautiful daughter Sandy. I don't doubt my Mom was there beside them as well. My deepest sympathy to Freddie, Geraldine & their sons, & Bill, Sharon & Denise & your extended families. On behalf of our family along with my brother Joey, our thoughts and prayers are with you all, as we will celebrate Aunt Josie's life, fondly reminiscing about her in the coming days. Treasured memories. Kick up your heels Aunt Jo & dance, there must be quiet a celebration going on in heaven. Love, Roe, Ed, Ryan & Kimberly Godfrey & Joey Torsiello "
