George K. Sacher
October 7, 1941 - March 8, 2019

George K. Sacher, of Sebring, Florida, formerly of Davie, Florida, passed away on March 8, 2019 at the Highlands Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness. He was 77 years of age.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 7, 1941, son of Walter and Elizabeth (Snyder) Sacher. Raised and educated in Cleveland, George moved to Davie, Florida in 1967. In earlier years, he enjoyed horseback riding and was known as a real cowboy in his day.
Before his retirement in 2007, George worked with Berkel and Company Contractors as a crane operator for many years. In his spare he still had a love for horses, fishing, watching NASCAR racing, riding his motorcycle and a fan of the Florida Gators. His beloved wife of 42 years, Shirley (Hansen) Sacher died in 2014.

Survived by his devoted children Malynda Sacher, Theresa Gaudette, Robin Sacher and John L. (Ruashell) Jacobsen, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, sister, Marie (Jack) Hall, and brother Leonard (Donna) Sacher.

Visitation on Wednesday, March 13th from 11:00 A.M. ~ 12 P.M. at Fred Hunters Hollywood Memorial Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, followed by entombment at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Mausoleum.
