"To Darleen's family, My Mom, Dorothy Rock, was a cousin of her husband, Kenny. My Mom passed away in April 1994 but was in the hospital in Maquoketa for weeks & I spent every day with her. Darleen came several different days to visit but Mom being in a coma much of the time she visited me & kept me company!! She also took me out to lunch a few days!! I live in WI but anytime we came back to Iowa & had time we stopped at FlapJack restaurant to say "hi" to Darleen. She was a sweetheart & I tried to keep in touch with her the years after my Mom passed!! I loved hearing from her! My warmest & most heartfelt sympathy goes out to her family!! God Bless you!! Sending a hug I missed giving her the last few years!!"
