Ramona K. Gronbach
November 2, 1936 - March 11, 2019
Ramona K. Gronbach was born November 2, 1936, in Gruver, daughter of Neal and Pearl (Saner) Paulson. Ramona grew up in the Estherville area later moving to Sigourney. Ramona was married to Thomas E. Gronbach, Sr. on September 25, 1954 in Algona. They made their home in Irvington and she worked many years at the Kossuth County Home and for Pioneer. Ramona enjoyed gardening, canning, and fishing.
Ramona became a resident of the Humboldt North Nursing Home in March of 2016. She died there on Monday, March 11, 2019 at the age of 82.
She is survived by three sons, Ron (Alona) of Algona, Larry (Kimberly) of Fairmont, MN, and Thomas Jr. of Bancroft; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas on November 17, 1999; a daughter, Diane Jensen; a great-grandson in infancy; and two brothers.
A graveside service will be held later this spring at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Irvington.
