Robert "Bob" Glenn Morse Sr., 56, of Burlington died Monday, March 11, 2019 in his home.
Born February 3, 1963 in Burlington, Iowa he was the son of Delbert Morse and Joan (Koehler) Reinhardt.
Robert worked as a maintenance mechanic for the last several years for Case New Holland.
He was of the Christian faith.
He loved fishing and the river. He was always busy working on cars and renovating houses. His joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren, even recently purchasing a van just to take all of them for ice cream.
Survivors include his two children Robert (Tarah) Morse of West Burlington and Laura Hummer of Burlington; four grandchildren, Gracie, Liliann, Kayleigh and Robert Glenn Matthew Morse III; his father Delbert (JudyAnn) Morse of Burlington; two sisters Karen Morse of Cedar Rapids, IA and Christine (Todd) Goodman of Hiawatha, IA; two brothers Dell (Carilyn) Morse of Tipton, IA and David Morse of Marion; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Joan Reinhardt.
The memorial funeral service for Mr. Morse will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16th at Lunning Chapel. The Rev. JudyAnn Morse will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. According to his wishes, cremation has been entrusted to Lunning Chapel.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for his grandchildren's education.
