In loving memory of

Ken Nesler
July 11, 1954 - March 11, 2019

Kenneth L. Nesler passed away peacefully on Monday, March 11, 2019 at his home in Millville, MN. Kenny was born to Margaret (Kiese) and Calvin Nesler in Winona, MN on July 11, 1954. He grew up with his 3 older brothers and 1 younger sister on a farm near Altura, MN. Ken was a skilled craftsman and carpenter. He enjoyed working with his hands and spent most of his life making a living at it. He found his joy while he was outside, fishing or hiking and hunting in the woods. He loved to paint and draw the wildlife around him. He was very artistic and skilled at building unique bird houses.
Kenny had a great many friends and reveled in their company. He loved to play cribbage even when he "had a hard time reading the cards upside down." He had a wonderful quick-witted sense of humor and a charismatic laugh. He gave the best hugs. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Margaret Nesler. He is survived by his brothers, John Nesler (Joan Longshore), Gene (Rita) Nesler, Joe (Pam) Nesler, and his sister Lynn (David) McClellan, his children, Jennifer Nesler (Buck Miller) and Nathen (Kelly) Nesler. He held dear every single moment he spent with his grandchildren, Buck Miller, Addison, Camryn and Paislee Nesler. Their joy made him smile for the entire visit. Ken is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins and a great many friends. A gathering of family and friends to will be held on Friday, March 29, 2019 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service in St. Charles, for those wishing to express their condolences.
