RUSHFORD, MN - Irvin H. Feine, 88, of Rushford, MN died on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI.
Irvin was born on the family farm near Rushford on December 20, 1930, to Hubert and Emma (Erdman) Feine. Irvin was raised on the farm where he lived and worked as a dairy farmer all his life. He was united in marriage with Marilyn Luhmann on March 24, 1951. He was a life time member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Hart, MN, where he served on the church board. Irvin enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family.
He is survived by five children: Doug (Bev) Feine of Stewartville, MN, Melanie (Herman) Laumb of Houston, MN Calvin (Lynn) Feine of Stewartville, MN, Dean (Laurie) Feine of Rushford, MN, and Anne (David) Dahlen of Zumbrota, MN; 13 grandchildren: Eric (Kim) Feine, Leslie (Chris) Nelson, Walter Laumb, Leland (Cherise) Laumb, Kari (Fiance, Jeremie) Laumb, Nicklolas (Kari) Feine, Janelle (Charlie) Dahl, Chris (Jenny) Feine, Cory (Melissa) Feine, Clayton (Jena) Feine, Caleb Feine, Paul Dahlen, and Luke Dahlen; four step grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and two more on the way; two sisters: Irene Heiden of Rushford, and Elaine Jensen of Milwaukee, WI; and by a sister-in-law, Lillian Gravos of Rushford.
He was preceded in death by his wife and four siblings: Alvin, Viola, La Verne, and Lucille.
There will be a funeral service for Irvin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2019, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Hart, MN with the Reverend Harold Hintzman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service in Rushford and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.
The family prefers memorials to St John's Lutheran Church in Hart, MN, American Heart Association, or American Diabetes Association.
