Ana Medina Diaz Negron
September 28, 1937 - March 14, 2019

Ana Medina-Diaz Negrón, also known as Annie, 81, of Pembroke Pines, FL, passed away on March 14, 2019.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. at Fred Hunter Funeral Home. Pastor Enrique Santiago of Iglesia Pentecostal Maranatha Assembly of God will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. on Monday, March 18, 2019 at Fred Hunter Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 1:30 P.M. There will be a gathering to celebrate Annie's life following the burial at Annie's home.
Annie was born in San Sebastián, Puerto Rico on September 28, 1937. Annie was married to Manuel A. Negrón on December 26, 1964. They had three children, Anita, Manny and Victor.
Annie worked as a seamstress and she enjoyed cooking, taking care of her family - especially her great-grandbabies, Shiloh, Sage, and Harmony. She was also actively involved in activities at Care Advantage. Above these things, Annie loved the Lord and spent time with the Lord in prayer. She was disappointed that her health did not allow her to spend more time in church. However, Annie knew that the Lord was everywhere, even in her bedroom where she was able to spend precious time with Him.
Annie is survived by:

Children: Anita Negrón-García, Manuel A. Negrón Jr., Victor Negrón, Carlos García, Melinda García
Grandchildren: Krystal M. García-Malcolm, Karlos M. García, Manuel A. Negrón III, Oshane Malcolm, Karina García
Great-Grandchildren: Shiloh A. Malcolm, Sage A. Malcolm, Harmony Q. García
Siblings: Ernesto Medina, Ismael Medina, Carmen Medina
Annie is also survived by other family and friends.
Annie is preceded in death by Hermina Mendez, Carlina Diaz, Emerito Medina and Miquel Medina.

The family of Annie wishes to thank the staff of Memorial Regional West Hospital for their amazing patient care, empathy, respect, love, and support that they provided to Annie and her family during the last month of her life, especially on the last day.
