Twila R. Benson, 65, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Monday, March 25th, 2019 at Trinity Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, March 29th at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home.
Survivors include her brothers, Rick Chase of Somers; Kenneth (Linda) Chase of Wes Des Moines, IA; sister, Gayle Wilson of Jefferson; over 130 nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lowell and Leola (Riley) Chase; husband, Clarence "Clancy" in 2012; 3 brothers, James, Bruce, and Billy Chase; sister, Ruth Ewing, 2 nephews; 2 great nieces;
Twila Rae Chase was born on October 15, 1953 in Fort Dodge. She attended schools here and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1972. On March 11, 1975 she was united in marriage to Clarence Benson. The couple made their home in New Sharon. They also lived in Des Moines, Montezuma, New Sharon, Somers and Fort Dodge. Twila enjoyed spending quality time with her family, especially her niece Vicki, going to karaoke on Friday nights, and bowling and dancing!!
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
