Gerald Duane Stickney, 60, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away Friday, March 29, 2019, at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He was born January 16, 1959, in Mason City, Iowa, to Jess T. and Joanne A. (Young) Stickney.
Gerald attended and graduated from the Council Bluffs School for the Deaf. He worked at an area Post Office and Target in Chicago. Gerald enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins and Vikings.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather Jo and Roger Nuehring of Hampton, sister Lisa (Kevin) Tumilson of Nora Springs, sister Patricia (Jim) Crider of Atlanta, Georgia. Gerald was preceded in death by his father, brother Michael Stickney, sister Sandra Jo Boyd and infant sister Cheryl Stickney.
Private family services will be held.
