Robert Hale
December 25, 1936 - October 10, 2010

Robert L. Hale, age 73, died Sunday, October 10, 2010 at home.  He was born December 25, 1936, in South Wayne, WI, the son of Charles and Ethel (Seffrood) Hale.  Prior to retiring, Robert worked 37 years with AT&T as a manager of telecommunication systems.  He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and a member of Telephone Pioneers of   America.  On September 14, 1957, Robert was united in marriage with Kathleen Jorgensen, in Racine.     In addition to his wife Kathleen, survivors include 5 children: Robert A. (Katherine) Hale of Deerfield, Gary E. (Ellen) Hale of Nevada, Steven S. (Michelle) Hale and Susan K. Hale both of Sun Prairie and John R. (Karen Eitland) Hale of Balsam Lake, WI; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 sister Grace (Herb) Berg of Florida and 1 brother Rev. Dr. Leonard G. (Shirley) Hale of Missouri.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Eugene Hale and a sister Marie Thomas.     Services will be held at 1:30 pm Friday, October 15 at the CRESS FUNERAL HOME where friends may call from 11:30 am until time of service.  Reverend Dr. David J. Berggren will officiate.  In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Our Savior's Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice.
