In loving memory of

Adam Walter Adams
January 10, 1934 - April 2, 2019

Adam "NoNo" Adams - investor, risk-taker, prankster, gangster (not really), cycle-rider, flag-waver, hard worker, loyal friend and famous uncle, died on April 2, 2019. If you knew Adam, you were blessed with good times, great food, a few drinks and plenty of laughter! For all the love and affection he showed, the guy never married. He was fiercely independent and a proud U.S. Army veteran, (which equipped him well to be a staunch Bears fan in Packerland.) He requested six Chicago Bears players to serve as pallbearers, so they could let him down one last time! Some life lessons from Adam: Driving a school bus and birth control have a lot in common. Never use a "whole" sheet of paper towel... always save half for later. Hide keys in really weird places. Happy Hour pricing and Early Bird specials are a form of wealth management. Keep the safety off.(!) And last, tending bar and owning a business is the same as getting your PhD in "life"! Who could ask for more?
Adam's nieces, nephews and their families had a private memorial service at the Agrace Hospice chapel in Madison. Adam's friends, neighbors, acquaintances and the Pier 290 gang will celebrate Adam's life and legacy on Thursday, May 16 from 4-6pm at Pier 290 in Williams Bay, WI.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to:
•Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy of Williams Bay at friendsofknc.org
•Fisher House Foundation, Department of Veteran's Affairs at fisherhouse.org
•Agrace Hospice at agrace.org.

"Adam looked out for me when I moved to Bay Colony. Gave me all the tips on how to get my condo up to speed, where to go for dinner or a good drink. If I saw something unusual going on (people on our property, etc.) I knew Adam would take care of it. When I?d come back from wherever I was and he wasn?t in his chair in the lobby it was coming home to an empty house. He was a good friend who will be missed. Meech Kooiker"

"Adam was my Neighbor for over 15 years .. best neighbor I ever had. He lived above me and talked to me from the balcony! Not a morning went by without seeing him having coffee in the lounge . we all knew what chair was his! He will be missed so much at bay colony south! Carolyn Smeltzer "

"My Condolences to the Adam Adams? family. I didn?t know him well but I did know him off and on since the 1960?s. I met Adam through my parents who often had dinner at the Brass Ball Corner Restaurant, owned and/or managed by the Adams family. Adam would tend bar and he always made sure my father got his favorite German Beer while having dinner there. We went to a couple movies while I was on my college summer break. Adam was a thoughtful, kind, considerate gentleman. I continued to run into him through the years as he was a close friend of my brother and his friends. In my experience Adam was always good-natured and respectful. I am certain his family will miss him. Barbara Loth-VanWagner "
