Eldeane Klindt Quintieri, 89, of Glenwood, died on Monday, April 8, 2019 at the Glen Haven Home in Glenwood. A private family graveside service will be held in the Mineola Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2019 at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood.

Memorials: The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials be given to the Glenwood Public Library or St. Croix Hospice.

Eldeane Pauline Klindt Quintieri, daughter of Joseph William and Luella Emelia (Deitchler) Wriedt, was born on June 12, 1929 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She grew up in the Silver City, Iowa area and attended Silver School where her father and grandmother attended. Eldeane graduated from the Glenwood High School in 1947.

Eldeane and Walter Edgar Klindt, Jr. were married on September 12, 1948 at St. John Lutheran Church in Mineola, Iowa. The couple was blessed with two children, Marcia Diane and Rodney Alan. They lived on the Klindt family farm until 1951 when they moved to the Wriedt family farm. It later became a Century Farm in 1985.

Eldeane was a busy farm wife and mother. She and Walter enjoyed traveling in their pick-up camper. Walter passed away at the age of 53 on October 3, 1980.

Eldeane and Mike Quintieri were united in marriage on May 30, 1993 at the Grace United Methodist Church in Glenwood. The couple made their home in Glenwood and enjoyed traveling to Texas and Arizona in the winter, the Heritage Club bus tours, playing cards and dining out with friends. They were married 14 years when Mike passed away at their Glenwood home on November 23, 2007.

Eldeane was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church and served as an assistant Circle Leader. She served on the Mills County Extension Council and was a member of the Share a Book Club of Glenwood and Farm Bureau. She loved spending time with her friends, especially her family and grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.

Eldeane passed away at the Glen Haven Home in Glenwood on April 8, 2019 at the age of 89 years, 9 months, and 26 days. In addition to her husbands, Walter and Mike, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Eldeane is survived by her daughter Marcia McMurray and husband Lee of Omaha, NE; son Rod Klindt and wife Gina of Glenwood; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; other relatives and many special friends.
