MUSCATINE, Iowa - James Arthur Luellen, 73, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at Genesis East Hospital - Davenport.

James was born on October 14, 1945, in Muscatine, the son of John Jack and Vera Negus Luellen.
He was a US Army veteran stationed in Korean. He retired from the Corps of Engineers in 2008.
He was an accomplished drummer and had played with many bands over the years. He also enjoyed camping.
Those left to honor his memory include two sons, Darrin Luellen of Muscatine and Chad Luellen of Illinois; and one brother John Luellen of California.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Barbara and Mary, and one brother, William.
