Marie Veronica Cummings, age 90, the daughter of Joseph and Regina V. (Bartek) Novotny, was born January 30, 1929 in Omaha, Nebraska. She passed away April 13, 2019 in Elkhorn, Nebraska.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Regina Novotny; brother, Joseph Jr. "Pepe"; husband, Rudy H. Cummings. She is survived by her children: Greg Cummings of California, Doug Cummings and Vicki Daharsh (Steve) of Omaha; grandchildren: Amy, Adam, Anthony and Angela of California, Travis, Deana, Darcie, Ian and Shea of Omaha; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Nebraska Humane Society.
