Rosemary Arbogast, 87, of Knoxville, formerly of Elmwood, passed away at 11:25 a.m., on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Knox County Nursing Home.
She was born on June 14, 1931, in Avon, to Joseph and Ruby (Miller) Smith. They preceded her in death.
She married Glenn L. Dunn on June 26, 1953. He preceded her in death on March 3, 1979. She later married James C. Arbogast on November 27, 1982. He preceded her in death on June 20, 2004.
She is survived by four children, J. Craig (Mischele) Arbogast, John E. (Sue) Arbogast, Jeffrey C. Arbogast, and Joseph D. (Kelli) Arbogast; nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, John H. Smith and Lawrence C. Smith; and one sister, Barbara E. Smith.
Rosemary worked at Methodist Medical Center as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was also a former member of the V. F. W. Auxillary #724 in Elmwood and a volunteer E.M.T. for B.Y.E.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Elmwood Township Cemetery.
