Kathy K. Kneifl, 67, of Martinsburg, NE passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE. Visitation with the family present will begin at 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Kathy was born October 15, 1951 in Montivideo, MN, the daughter of Valentine and Wava (Redan) Bornhorst. She married Terry Kneifl on November 21, 1977.
Gardening and canning were among the things Kathy loved. She was a very good cook and the family had their favorite dishes they always looked forward to eating. She loved to hang clothes on the line and bring that fresh air smell into the house. Cats were always a companion for Kathy. She took in every stray cat.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother and a sister.
Survivors include her husband, Terry; stepson, TJ and his wife, Silvia; and two step-grandchildren, Khole and Priscillia Kneifl.
