Patrick R. Mejia, 80, of Hampton, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019, at the MercyOne North Iowa Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City, Iowa. He was born March 17, 1939, to Joseph and Petra (Rodriquez) Mejia.
Patrick attended schools in Manly, Iowa. He had two previous marriages. Patrick worked at Campbell Soup Company in Worthington, Minnesota. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Hampton, Iowa.
Patrick enjoyed fishing, going for breakfast, going for walks and attending his grand and great grandchildren's events. He also loved to spend time with his family.
Patrick is survived by his son Steven (Traci) Mejia of Kalispell, Montana, daughter Patricia Fitz of Eden Valley, Minnesota, son Lawrence (Julie) Mejia of Mankato, Minnesota, son Mark Mejia of Bolivar, Missouri, daughter Teresa (John) Newell of Rogers, Arkansas, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, brother Ray Mejia of Manly, sister Angie (Carl) Landwell of Nixa, Missouri, sister Janie (Art) Roacha of Hampton, brother James (Shirley) Mejia of Hampton, brother Felix ( Betty Lou) of Tiffin, brother Joseph (Carol) Mejia of Northport, Florida.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents and sister Vacilia McBride.
