Duane A. "Tony" Kelch

Duane A. "Tony" Kelch, 46, of Hampton, passed away from leukemia, Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at his home in Hampton, Iowa. He was born May 4, 1972, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Duane Arthur and Ruth Ann (Nelson) Kelch.

Tony graduated from Hampton-Dumont High School in 1991. He was previously married to Kelly Andrews, and together they had a son, Kaleb Shawn. Tony owned and operated his own lawn care business.

Tony was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Hampton. He enjoyed cars and anything with wheels on it. In school, he was a good wrestler and trombone player. Tony loved dogs and always had one.

Tony is survived by his son Kaleb Shawn Kelch of Hampton, parents Duane and Ruth Ann Kelch of Hampton, sister Allison Evans of Waukee, nephew Owen Stark of Waukee, maternal grandmother Lucile Nelson of Wesley and Bear his faithful dog.

Tony is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Tony's family.
