Elisa Maria Marshall, age 69 of Spring House, PA, passed away on Friday April 26, 2019 in hospice care at the Abington Health Center in Warminster.
Elisa was born in The Bronx, New York and raised in Old Brookville on Long Island. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Mercy Academy in Syosset, NY and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Princeton University. She earned her MSW at the University of Georgia and worked as a psychotherapist for forty years. She was an active member of St. Thomas' Church Whitemarsh, immersing herself in the community and church family there.
Elisa is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Carr of Spring House. She is the loving mother of Vincent and Sophie Marshall of Wilton, Connecticut, and Andrew Marshall and his wife Cheryl Hendry of Bozeman, Montana. She is the dear sister of Guy and Susan Tufo of Far Hills, NJ, Vincent Tufo and Deborah Low-Tufo of Wilton CT, Chris and Hedy Tufo of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Steve and Sheryl Tufo of Plymouth, Minnesota and Joseph Feuerman of Westhampton, NY. She was preceded in death by her parents; Dr. Vincent and Marie Tufo and her sister Jennifer Feuerman.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday May 1, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, PA 19002. Elisa's Memorial Service will be on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas' Church, Whitemarsh, Bethlehem Pike & Camp Hill Road, Fort Washington, PA 19034 with Associate Rector Elizabeth Costello as officiant. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
