It was always so enjoyable when the two of you would stop by the store and we could catch up about what was happening in Shenandoah or which game you were headed to next. The conversations were great and indeed gave us a lot of insight into what a great guy you had there. Our thoughts to your entire family."

"I have many fond memories of Mike. The earliest ones were when I started teaching with his wife, Connie, at South Page Schools. Mike always came to events at the school - and gave lots of encouragement and praise to the youngsters he supported. Mike's life centered around what he could do to make others happy. Whenever I would see Mike, he asked about everyone in my family. He truly wanted to know and cared about the people that were in my life. Mike was my son Evan's Godfather. He came to birthday parties, sent cards, and attended so many of Evan's activities. He always gave of his time and showed interest in what Evan, and his younger brother, Isaac were involved with. I feel thankful and blessed to have known Mike. My heartfelt condolences to Connie and all of Mike's family and friends. He will be missed by so many. "
