Todd Atkins wrote on May 12, 2019:

"In every picture Kim smiles. Not flashbulb fake, but with sincerity and clarity of living one?s best life?Kim?s gift to- and legacy for her family. Sister/friends of Kim, stand in the gap. The children will need the comfort of your bosom. Brother/friends, men often suffer in silence. While offering a shoulder, let Rick know that it?s ok to grieve out loud. Acknowledge in his presence that vulnerability requires more courage than the facade of strength, and that this, too, shall pass. I pray the Comforter during this time of transition and I admonish all to follow the example of demonstrative and limitless love. Todd Atkins "

Mr. Farrell wrote on May 9, 2019:

"We only saw you once per week, And yet you shone so bright. In a world of constant darkness, Your smile gave us light. Our students loved their time with you, They always had such fun. Your talent was so evident, To nearly everyone. Your work was quite important, It must have made you proud. To make a difference in their lives, As much as God allowed. Sadly, it?s unusual, More so as time does pass. To find someone who makes work more enjoyable, With dignity and class! And so, it gives us sadness, To say one last goodbye. The world?s one good soul less today, And none of us knows why. Sometimes God lends us an angel, And we never even know. That they live and walk among us, We don?t realize until they go. And tho? we are so very sad, To hear that you have passed, It?s your smile we?ll all remember, And the way you made us laugh! Farewell and Godspeed, May the Four Winds blow you safely home ~Love, Natural Bridge-- Portable 6 ?All I know is something like a bird within her sang. All I know she sang a little while and then flew off? "

"I met Kimberly when I was a new first year Special Education Teacher. She was the first Occupational Therapist that graced my classroom and with her radiant smile and personality-how could I not instantly like her.? When she found out I was an Occupational Therapy student she grilled me, mentored me, and more than likely recommended me for to be an OT in the school system when I applied. I knew I could always count on her for support and guidance. She was truly an inspiration and friend. In the years that have passed since that day (2005), I always looked forward to her light and warm personality?and the way she could check me in a positive way. She has left a lasting impression in my life. I will miss her radiance, personality and beauty. Always. "

Mr. Farrell wrote on May 7, 2019:

"I had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Christian for the past 5 years through work. She would come by each week, and in the midst of seemingly endless chaos, interacting with her was always a bright spot in my day. She was good at building relationships and took the time to make work more pleasant, even if that meant harassing me about my Patriots being cheaters. She was so genuine, and the students loved her because of it. I can only imagine the type of mother she was. Dr. Christian was a true professional and a true friend. May God be with her for eternity, and may He comfort those who called Dr. C. family. ~Mr. Farrell, Natural Bridge "
