Darlene R. Hogan, 54, of Fort Dodge passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019 at her home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in the chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Darlene is survived by her sons, Austin Hogan of Webster City, Pat Hogan and Colton Hogan both of Fort Dodge; grandson, Oden; mother, Sylvia (Ernie) Cornell of Fort Dodge; brothers, Russ, Bob, and Russell; sisters, Rachel and Cindy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Eckman.
Darlene Renee Eckman was born October 23, 1964 in Fort Dodge. She attended public schools and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1983. She was united in marriage to Greg Hogan on July 3, 1993 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. The couple established their home on the family farm east of Fort Dodge. The couple later divorced. Darlene was a talented baker, employed at Larita's Cakes and More for many years. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and doing artwork.
Memorials may be left to family discretion.
