Ross Lombardo
August 14, 1951 - May 10, 2019

Ross Lombardo was the firstborn child of Chester and Mary Lombardo, born on August 14, 1951 in Bayside, NY. He is survived by his two children, Tiffany and Chelsea; his three siblings, Jo-ann, Susan and Paul; and his grandson, Tanner.

In 1970, the Lombardo family moved to Florida. Ross always knew exactly who he was. He was able to provide well for himself and his family with his ability to see potential in everything and everyone. Part of the reason Ross was so successful was because he treated everyone he came into contact with equality and without discrimination. We would all do well to reflect on that quality of his and honor him by doing the same in our lives.

Ross Lombardo was known by many of us as "Uncle Ross", the jovial, playful, rough housing, teasing uncle. Uncle Ross brought an infectious energy with him every time he spent time with his nieces and nephews. He just became one of the kids again with his "Rossy the Horsey" antics he was known for in his own childhood years. He made us laugh, drove us crazy, loved us deeply and we loved and still do, love him back. Family was very important to Ross. He made time for them. You never knew when you would get a pop up visit from Ross, or what goodies he was bringing by for you this time (or where he got them). But it was always exciting when he was there.

Most of all, Ross will be remembered for the doting, loving and caring dad that he was to his two girls, Tiffany and Chelsea. Where he and Tiffany couldn't be more alike,
he and Chelsea couldn't be more different. His two girls brought so much purpose into his life - and balance. He was proud beyond measure of them both and it was seen by the way his eyes gleamed when ever he spoke of them. The gift of being a grandpa to his buddy, Tanner, was one of life's privileges that brought him the most joy in his life. Ross' life ended too soon, but anyone who knew Ross knew that he lived his life to the fullest.

As a family, we rest our faith in the assurance the we will see him again in God's New World. Rest in peace, Brother. See you in Paradise. Acts 24:15 'I have hope toward God, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.' "
