Christopher Thomas Brannen
August 5, 1947 - May 12, 2019

Christopher Thomas Brannen, 71, of Dresher, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2019. Chris was born to Jesse C. and Jeannette Brannen, in St. Petersburg, FL and raised in Pleasant Valley, NY.

He served in the United States Navy as a Korean Linguist from 1967 to 1971. Chris graduated from the University of Albany with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics in 1973 and a Master's of Business Administration in 1975. He was employed by Unisys Corporation from 1975 until 2007, serving in a variety of roles in Information Technology.

He is survived by his wife and best friend of 35 years, Caryn; his children, Kirsten of North Wales, PA, Jennifer, of Dresher, PA, Scott and his girlfriend, Connelly Rhea, of New York City, NY; his siblings, Susan J. Brannen and Henry Greenwood of Victor, NY, Janet and Terry Adams, of West Berne, NY, and Jesse C. and Susan Brannen, of Gainesville, FL.

Chris enjoyed working in his yard, reading historical biographies, and driving anywhere. He was a golf enthusiast and a Syracuse Orange fan. Chris was a Red Cross volunteer. Above all, Chris was a devoted husband and father.

His life will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 18th, 2019, at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 919 Tennis Avenue, Maple Glen, PA, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.
