Alice Ann Hengesbach wrote on Jun 12, 2019:

"Mary Sloban Barker became a dear friend through our professional relationship in Dare County. Mary was always quick to laugh equally at life's joys and absurdities. Heaven is a happier place with her arrival. Our hearts are broken and at the same time our souls are laughing as each of us remembers our "Mary Stories." With gratitude for her life and with special love to Becca who made sure "we" all were treated with respect. Love, Alice Ann xoxo"
