Pola Gloria D'Isepo, 94, of Boynton Beach, passed away on May 18, 2019 in Boynton Beach.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Friday, May 24, 2019 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Boynton Beach with Rev. Father Carlos Reyes. Arrangements are by Fred Hunter's Hollywood Funeral Home.
Pola was born in Bolivar Valle, Colombia to Isaias Tascon and Ana Maria Vicuna on February 26, 1925. She went to school at Bolivar Valle. She eventually moved to the United States and shortly thereafter met her future husband Andrew C. D'Isepo and married on April 23, 1962 in the Church of the Little Flower, Hollywood, Florida. She worked as a tailor for Maus & Hoffman and as a seamstress for Sultan & Sons for 10 years.
Pola - wonderful friend, wife, mother. Pola loved life, family and her friends. She was always ready and willing to lend a hand. Her door was always open and she loved to cook for everyone who came through it. She loved to tell jokes and laugh, especially at herself. She loved to sew and make beautiful dresses for many, to crochet doilies and to make so many other handmade crafts. Her smile radiated love. She was a devout Catholic and a member of the Holy Rosary Group.
Pola is preceded in death by her spouse Andrew C. D'Isepo (2006) and son Richard A. D'Isepo (1982).
Pola is survived by daughter Elizabeth Sumi and husband Derek, and her grandchildren Chelsea Lynn Sumi and Ashley Rose Sumi.
A Celebration of Life for our lovely lady Pola will follow for family and friends following the Funeral Mass at the family's home in Boynton Beach.

Father Carlos Reyes, Organist Eerang Ahn and Soloist Rebbekah Faustin at St. Thomas More Church and to Trustbridge Hospice and the hospice team: Dr. Katherine Brazzale, Donna James, Social Worker, Todd Stubb, Chaplain, Sharon Cunningham, RN, Kimberly Duncombe, Hospice Aide and our lovely care givers Gloria Grisales Munoz, Yanira Roman and Carmen Crespo, for their kindness and good care of our sweet little lady Pola.
