Dorothy Piccone
June 3, 1931 - May 22, 2019

Dorothy Piccone, age 87, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at her home in Ambler.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Celia (nee Kreigstein) Procino.

Dorothy was a devoted homemaker, dedicated to her husband and sons. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Ambler. She enjoyed cooking meals for her family and especially loved the time spent with her grandchildren.

Along with being a tremendous homemaker (cleanest house in town), Dottie held a number of jobs throughout her life. She was a bookkeeper, administrative assistant, cashier/hostess, pizza cook, and an innkeeper. A true utility player!

Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband Carmen Piccone in 2005. She is the loving mother of Marc A. Piccone and his wife Heather of North Wales, and Scott S. Piccone and his wife Susie of W. Hartford, CT. She is the dear grandmother of Victoria, Jennifer, Francesca, Matthew, Anthony, and Amy. Dorothy is also survived by her brother Joseph Procino and his wife Terry of Abington.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, 16 S. Spring Garden Street, Ambler, PA followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery.

"Marc and Heather, Your Mom is such a sweetheart. She loved cooking Chicken noodle soup and meatballs for the animals that had to stay overnight. Buffy loved them and she would not eat anythig from just anyone "
