Marie S. Reilley, a longtime resident of Ambler and Fort Washington, died peacefully on Saturday May 25, 2019, her loving family at her side. She was 61 years old.
Born on September 28, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Madeline (nee Pistilli) Santoro.
Marie was a 1975 graduate of Upper Dublin High School. She graduated with honors from Gwynedd Mercy University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Marie was employed for 25 years at Montgomery Publishing in Fort Washington as an Advertising and Receivables Clerk, at Fed Ex for 5 years as a Customer Service Rep and 10 years at McNeil Consumer Products, Fort Washington as a Product Specialist Representative.
Marie was a lifelong parishioner at Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Ambler. For over 20 years, she volunteered her time and talent as a Catechist for the CFF program and served on the Youth Commission. She enjoyed working on the Hospitality Committee, baking and organizing receptions for many church functions. She also enjoyed spending time in her garden.
Marie is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, John Reilley. She is the devoted mother of Kate Steele (Annie) of Ambler; and Michele Reilley of Queens, NY. Marie is the loving grandmother of Marlee Rimmer and Layne Mucciariello, both of Ambler. She is also survived by her dear sisters, Frances Thomas (Scott) of Fort Washington; and Nancy Schappell (Edward) of Camp Hill, PA; and loving niece, Lauren Thomas of Fort Washington.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 9:15 to 11:15 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 259 Forest Avenue, Ambler, PA 19002. Words of Remembrance will be said at 11:15 AM. Marie's Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Msgr. Stephen P. McHenry at 11:30 AM.
